Information you provide

When you request a quote or contact us, you may provide:

• Your name, phone number, and email address.
• Your vehicle identification number (VIN), vehicle type, and other vehicle information.
• Information about glass damage, the service you need, and any message or other details you submit.
• Insurance information when you include it in a message, ask us to verify coverage, or provide it later so we can assist with a claim.
• Appointment, service-location, payment, and transaction information provided while arranging or receiving service.

The website's current quote forms do not request payment-card or bank-account information. If you later pay for service, payment information is handled through the payment method used for that transaction rather than through these website forms.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, our hosting provider and the Google advertising tag may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and website interactions.

The quote forms also create a random, non-identifying submission ID. The browser stores a short-lived session marker for that ID to help prevent the same successful quote request from being counted more than once as an advertising conversion.

How We Use Information

We may use information to:

• Respond to questions and provide estimates or quotes.
• Call or email you about your request, schedule service, and provide service updates.
• Confirm vehicle and glass specifications and perform requested work.
• Verify coverage and assist with an insurance claim when you ask us to do so.
• Arrange and document payment for services, where applicable.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website and customer service.
• Prevent spam, duplicate submissions, fraud, misuse, and security incidents.
• Measure whether Google advertising leads to an accepted quote request.
• Maintain business records and comply with legal obligations.

Cookies and Google Ads

The website uses the Google tag for Google Ads conversion tracking. When our quote-email provider confirms that a legitimate quote request was accepted, the site sends Google Ads a conversion event with a random transaction ID. Customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, VINs, and message contents are not used as that transaction ID.

Google's tag may use cookies or similar technologies and may process technical information about your browser, device, and activity to measure advertising performance. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and review Google's advertising controls at My Ad Center. Blocking cookies or advertising scripts may limit measurement but does not prevent you from requesting a quote.

The current website code does not install Google Tag Manager or a separate Google Analytics property.

How We Share Information

We may share information only as reasonably needed with:

• Charlie's Auto Glass employees and technicians who respond to requests, schedule appointments, or perform services.
• Insurance companies and claim administrators when you ask us to verify coverage or assist with a claim.
• Service providers that operate the website or support communications, including Vercel for website hosting and serverless processing, Resend for delivery of quote-request emails, and Google for Google Ads conversion measurement.
• Payment and business-service providers involved in a transaction you choose to complete outside the website's quote forms.
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect rights or safety, or appropriate to investigate fraud or misuse.

Charlie's Auto Glass does not sell or rent customers' personal information.

The current website sends accepted quote requests through Resend to the Charlie's Auto Glass business inbox. It does not include a customer account system, CRM integration, or website database for quote requests.

Calls, Email, and Text Messages

We use the contact information you provide to respond to your request and communicate about quotes, appointments, insurance assistance, and services. The current website forms do not include separate consent for promotional text-message marketing.

If you ask us to text you, initiate a text conversation with us, or otherwise consent to service-related text messages, message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to opt out of further texts and HELP for assistance. Mobile information and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, provide services, maintain business and insurance records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Retention periods may vary based on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No website, email system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit highly sensitive information through the free-text message fields unless it is needed for your service request.

Your Privacy Choices

• You may choose not to provide optional information, although this may limit our ability to prepare an accurate quote or assist with a claim.
• You may adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies and use Google's advertising controls.
• You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages where texting applies.

Children's Privacy

This website and our services are intended for vehicle owners and other adults seeking auto-glass services. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, please contact us.
